WCCE News
New WCCE Web Site
Welcome to the new web site for your state professional development organization. Through the hard work of Dave Warkentin and Bob Green, you will now have access to a number of WCCE benefits by accessing one URL. Included in this site is the resource library, a list of all WCCE contacts, as well as all the state Chambers we currently have on record. You will also be able to register for various events and activities online in the near future. In order to gain full access to the WCCE site, you will need to set up an account...further directions on how you can do this will be on the site shortly. During the next few months as we begin to add new features and work out the kinks, etc., your input is important. Be sure and let us know as to what will make this new site more valuable to you by emailing either Dave or Bob.
Salary & Benefit Survey Underway
Your participation in the 2010 Salary and Benefit survey is requested. Along with conducting our own WCCE Salary and Benefit Survey, we are also joining with WACE in their efforts to provide a western state regional wide salary and benefit comparison for your usage. This information is one of the most requested of WCCE. For it to be of value to you and your colleagues, we need your participation. The WCCE survey is through Zoomerang and should take you for 5 - 7 minutes. The WACE survey is in a word document and can be completed and either mailed or e-mailed to their offices.
Why two you ask? WCCE has been working on updating it's survey over the last two months through the efforts of a task force. We were just recently asked by WACE to participate in their survey. So for this year, the decision was to do both...see how the results come out and determine the best course of action for 2011 in gleaning future salary & benefit information. We are asking you to do both to help WCCE in this important effort. Deadline: March 19th!
